Retail is the highest-margin revenue in an aesthetic practice, and it is the part of Lumina that the current homepage hides completely. Every product card here also earns points, which is what brings the patient back to buy the refill from you instead of Amazon.

Lumina Circle

Why would a patient come back to you?

Because leaving costs them something. Every dollar spent on treatments and products earns points that convert into credit against the next visit — automatically, with no card to carry and nothing for your front desk to administer.

Gift cards

Can I buy this as a gift?

Yes — and it arrives instantly, branded as Lumina rather than as a third-party payment page. Gift cards are prepaid revenue: the practice is paid today for a treatment delivered later, and roughly a third of recipients spend beyond the card value.

Question 1 of 5

Your first visit

What actually happens when I arrive?

Consultation and skin analysis

Twenty minutes with a licensed aesthetician. We look at your skin under magnification, take a history, and tell you honestly whether the treatment you booked is the right one.

Your treatment

Performed in a private room. You are told what you will feel before it happens, and what your skin will look like for the next 48 hours before you leave.

Aftercare and next steps

Written aftercare by email, the home-care products that support the result, and your next appointment booked before you walk out — or later, from your phone.

Questions

Questions patients ask before booking

Each of these is phrased the way a patient types it into Google or asks an AI assistant. That is deliberate — it is how a page gets quoted as the answer.

How much does a facial cost in Midtown Manhattan?

At Lumina, facials run from $50 for an OxyTrio express treatment to $180 for a Carbon Peel or Anti-Aging Facial. A customised facial is $130 and a teen facial is $100. Across Midtown medical spas the typical range is $120 to $250, so Lumina sits at the accessible end of the clinical bracket. Pricing is shown on every treatment page before you are asked to book.

Is laser hair removal safe for darker skin tones?

Lumina uses a diode laser, which is generally suitable across a wider range of skin tones than older alexandrite systems, because its longer wavelength targets the follicle with less absorption by surrounding pigment. Every course begins with a patch test at your consultation so settings are matched to your skin before a full session is booked. If your skin type is not a good candidate, we will tell you at the consultation rather than at the till.

What is the difference between a BioRePeel and a PCA peel?

A BioRePeel is biostimulating with social downtime only — your skin may look slightly flushed for a day, and most patients go back to work immediately. A PCA peel resurfaces more deeply and typically involves seven to ten days of visible peeling, which is why it is usually booked at least two weeks before an event. If you have something in the diary, tell us at consultation and we will pick the peel that fits your calendar.

How long do I need to wait between treatments?

Facials are typically every four to six weeks, following the skin's renewal cycle. Laser hair removal runs on a four to six week interval for the face and six to eight weeks for the body, because the laser only affects follicles in the active growth phase. Chemical peels are spaced four weeks apart at minimum. Your recommended interval is emailed with your aftercare, and the booking system will suggest the right date automatically.

Do you offer consultations before I commit to a treatment?

Yes. A twenty-minute new-patient consultation is complimentary and can be booked online like any other appointment. It includes a skin analysis under magnification and an honest recommendation — including telling you when the treatment you were considering is not the one you need.
